Protect against environmental pollutants and premature ageing, improve skin texture and correct age spots with this lightweight serum featuring a stabilised and gentler form of vitamin C (tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate) combined with antioxidant-rich Bakuchiol (1%).

This serum absorbs quickly and leaves a silky soft, non-greasy finish.

Available in the two following strengths: 20% THDA or 10%THDA

✓ Tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate (THDA) is a highly stable, fast-absorbing and non-irritating form of vitamin C. It protects against oxidative damage from UV and other environmental factors. Vitamin C scavenges the free radicals that are a cause of premature skin ageing, improves the appearance of hyperpigmentation, reduces age spots and revitalises skin texture. The THDA in this serum is oil soluble. It penetrates deeper into the skin, where it will provide the most tangible benefits.

✓ Bakuchiol is a powerful antioxidant with anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. With continued use, Bakuchiol has been shown to have a noticeable effect on the skin, including a reduction in wrinkle surface area, pigmentation, elasticity, firmness and overall photodamage. It doesn’t cause peeling and irritation, and it can be used during the day because it does not cause photosensitivity.

✓ Broccoli seed oil (only in the 20% version) is a rich source of beta carotene. It contains high amounts of omegas 6 and 9 to help support the skin’s barrier function. Non-clogging and fast-absorbing with a unique silky, lightweight texture mimics the feel of silicone.

✓ Kalahari melon seed oil (carrier oil in both versions) is a lightweight and fast-absorbing oil with a dry, silky touch. It is naturally rich in antioxidants and fatty acids that improve skin elasticity and moisture.

Suitable for combination, oily and blemish-prone skin types.

Mix a few drops with your moisturiser in the palm of your hand. Alternatively, press 2-3 drops of serum onto your skin after applying water-based serums (such as Illume Niacinamide Serum). Follow with sunscreen.

Keep away from direct sunlight. Best used within six months of opening.
