Olivia spent much of her childhood in Suzie’s salon, playing hairdressers with her best friend and watching transformations unfold in the chairs around her. Those early memories, filled with creativity, self-expression and the joy of helping people feel like their best selves, planted the seed for what would become Moo & Yoo.

Olivia has lived with eczema for most of her life, battling painful flare-ups on her sensitive scalp and hairline. She spent years, and far too much money, trying countless products, searching for something that worked for her hair but did not aggravate her sensitive scalp. Many left her feeling sore, covered in hives and feeling self-conscious about how her skin looked and felt.

Suzie, her mum and a professional hairdresser, understood all too well. Years of shampooing clients with harsh salon products left her hands red raw, cracked and sore, whilst her own sensitive scalp reacted badly to many of the professional haircare products she worked with every day. She often felt embarrassed showing her hands to clients and frustrated that even as a professional, she still couldn’t find a luxury salon haircare range that was both effective and gentle.
