Wooden spoons are essential for clay masks as using a metal spoon will affect the negatively charged ions in the clay.
Essentially, the metal reacts with the clay, which causes it to lose most of its healing properties. For this reason, we highly recommend using accessories that aren’t metal, including the mixing bowl to make up the mask.
